ऑल इंडिया प्रेस रिपोर्टर वेलफेयर एसोसिएशन के अध्यक्ष एवं वरिष्ठ पत्रकार आचार्य श्रीकांत शास्त्री जी ने कहा है कि एसोसिएशन देशभर के मीडियाकर्मियों के माध्यम से सोशल मीडिया के जरिए चीनी एप्लीकेशन (एप्प) एवं उसके अन्य सामानों के उपयोग प्रयोग को रोकने एवं बहिष्कार के लिए जनमानस के बीच जागरूक होने के लिए आंदोलन चलाएगी। साथ ही केंद्र सरकार एवं देश के सभी राज्यों की सरकारों से चाइनीस सामानों के आयात पर प्रतिबंध लगाने की मांग किया है।
एसोसिएशन, उन मीडिया संस्थानों का विरोध करेगी जिनके यहां चीनी विनिवेश के साथ देश में कार्य किया जा रहा है एवं सरकार से मांग है कि जिन मीडिया संस्थानों में चाइनीस विनिवेश के माध्यम से कार्य हो रहा है, उसे बंद करने और उनके सारे सुख सुविधाएं व सरकारी विज्ञापनों पर रोक लगाएं।
